2009 Ministry Training Workshop
Our first Ministry Training Workshop was a tremendous success with over 50 people enrolled from the GACC. Those people consisted of not only college students, but grandmothers, single moms, married couples, single people and teens! Although the 3-week session is over, we want everyone to take advantage of this incredible opportunity to be trained to be a minister of reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:18) and a workman approved (2 Timothy 2:15). in three years, and last school year (2008-09),
20 students were baptized into Christ!
On April 19, 2009, Will Lee (middle) got baptized in "God's Garage!"

 Lead Story
As disciples in 2009, we must begin to evaluate methods of reaching the world. Are our techniques and practices conducive to effective worldwide evangelism? In my opinion, many of our practices are outdated and not relevant to reaching the masses. >> What's the solution?

Exciting things are happening in 2009. We have already seen 35 baptisms and 2 restorations this year! After 11 months of studying the Bible, Schopelia Heitner, gets baptized on August 16, 2009. August 12th, we rejoiced as Ron Ware got baptized after taking some radical steps to leave his old lifestyle and follow in the steps of Jesus. Our newest single sister Marsha Cherisme was baptized July 29, 2009. Another single sister Kristy Ali was baptized exactly a week before while two married men were saved Sunday July 19. Robert Doggett was restored and Cecil Clark was baptized! Earlier this month on July 1st, the Georgia State University ministry brought Marcel Georges from darkness into His wonderful light! Then Marcel helped his friend Antwan Burks become a disciple and get baptized on July 15, 2009. A few days before on July 12th another teen, Travino "T.O." Turner, was baptized into Christ.

Kamal (middle) was baptized May 3rd by his single mom who became a disciple 3 years ago. He then invited his friend, T.O., to church and he was baptized July 12th!
